What is Telshare?
Telshare is a privacy-first, multi-tenant SaaS platform that enables businesses, organizations, professionals, creators and individuals to build and manage their online presence, get discovered through search and discovery, and manage customer relationships through built-in CRM, Contacts and Leads — with optional commerce — while maintaining secure data isolation, plan-based capabilities and independent account management. In practice that means a public Home and Search for discovery, a Studio to build and publish pages, a Dashboard for day-to-day operations and relationships, an Inventory system, a Reseller portal, and an admin Console that governs the whole platform.
How do I create a business page?
In Studio, open Create Page and follow the guided builder: choose a listing type and classification, add page details, images and video links, set interactions, then review and publish. A live preview updates as you work, and you can move between steps at any time.
How do themes and layouts work?
The Studio design step offers industry-tagged colour themes, eight page layouts (Classic, Hero, Gallery, Sidebar, Storefront, Magazine, Split and Minimal), font pairings, and controls for corners, density and light or dark mode, all with a live preview.
How does pricing work?
There are four plans — Free, Starter, Growth and Business — each with monthly, annual and reseller pricing. Add-ons include featured listings, storage upgrades and lead packs. Everything is grouped on the Plans and Pricing page in collapsible sections.
Where are plans and pricing managed?
The Console is the single source of truth. Prices, add-ons and promotions set there are saved centrally and propagate to every front-end automatically.
What are feature entitlements?
The Console Feature Entitlements matrix defines which plan unlocks which feature. Surfaces such as Inventory enforce it, so changing a plan enables or disables the related features. Business unlocks everything by default; lower plans are gated where configured.
What is the difference between Sponsored Ads, Boost and Promotions?
They are three distinct tools. Sponsored Ads is the full paid-discovery system — clearly-labelled placements that raise where a business appears across search, categories, featured, trending and related sections, with targeting, budgets, scheduling and analytics. Boost is the one-tap, simplified version of Sponsored Ads for everyday users: pick a page, reach, duration and daily budget and launch — it runs on the very same engine as a labelled Sponsored placement, so there is no separate ad system. Promotions is a separate, free tool for merchant offers (discounts, coupons, promo codes, BOGO, free shipping, loyalty, referral, seasonal and more) that appear on the business’s own page after a customer discovers it. Sponsored Ads and Boost increase visibility; Promotions rewards customers once they arrive.
What is Boost and how is it different from Sponsored Ads?
Boost is the simplest way to get more visibility: choose a page, where to run (local, one country or global), how many days, a daily budget and how to pay, then launch. Behind the scenes Boost creates a normal, clearly-labelled Sponsored campaign on the same serving engine — so delivery, targeting, budgeting, billing and analytics are shared, with no duplicate ad logic. Sponsored Ads gives you full campaign control (placements, keywords, audiences, scheduling); Boost trades that control for speed. The available durations, budget range, suggested amounts, payment methods and placements are all set by Telshare in the Admin Console.
How does Telshare Search decide what ranks?
Organic results are ordered by Telshare Search Intelligence using transparent, Console-set signals: relevance (how well a page matches the query and its metadata), engagement, trust (verification and ratings), recency, and a learning signal that improves results the more a query is used. A small, clearly-labelled promotion factor is secondary and never displaces a better-matching organic result. Administrators tune the exact weights, the searchable metadata fields, search behaviour, filters, sort options and per-plan search analytics centrally — nothing is hard-coded — and the live weights are shown in the “How ranking works” panel on Search.
Does Optimize include SEO?
Yes — SEO is built into Optimize; there is no separate or duplicate SEO tool. One Optimize screen in Studio lifts your page in Telshare’s own search and discovery (organic and transparent, free and unlimited on every plan) and optimizes it for external engines like Google and Bing. In one click, or via the advanced controls, it manages your title tag, meta description, keywords, image alt text, canonical URL, Open Graph and social tags, structured data (Schema), the sitemap entry, best-practice validation, and search indexing — per page, so each page keeps its own metadata.
How do metadata, structured data and indexing work?
Optimize generates and maintains the metadata search engines read: the page title and meta description, keywords, image alt text, a canonical URL, Open Graph/social cards, and JSON-LD structured data (Schema). It also produces your sitemap entry and requests indexing, and validates everything against current best practices — all shown transparently so there is no black box. In production, indexing, sitemap submission and CDN refresh run as background jobs.
Are Telshare pages fast, responsive and accessible?
Yes. Pages are self-contained (no blocking third-party scripts beyond web fonts), served over HTTPS/SSL, and cached at the edge (static assets long-lived on a CDN; dynamic data cached briefly). Layouts are responsive with a mobile viewport, and images are auto-compressed with thumbnails generated on upload. Accessibility is built in — semantic landmarks and ARIA, keyboard focus outlines, skip-to-content links, descriptive alt text, and reduced-motion support for users who prefer it.
How does Sponsored Listing targeting work (local, country, global)?
When you create a Sponsored Listing you choose a targeting reach: Local (an area within a country), Single country, Multi-country (pick several countries), or Global (all available countries). The listing is then shown only to people browsing from the countries you selected, is always clearly labelled Sponsored, is capped per placement, and never displaces organic results. Country availability and which reach types are allowed are set by Telshare in the Admin Console.
What controls do I have over sponsored listings I see?
Every Sponsored listing carries a menu with "Why am I seeing this?" (explains the paid placement and where it ran), "Not interested" (shows you fewer like it), and "Report this listing" (sends it to Telshare for review). Sponsored items are labelled and shown between results, never above the first organic result.
What is Telshare Sponsored Discovery?
Sponsored Discovery is how businesses sponsor their own discoverability so the most relevant business, page, product, service, event, professional or offer is easier to find. It is a discovery feature, not interruptive advertising: a sponsored result only ever appears when it genuinely matches your intent, is clearly labelled Sponsored with a plain "why", is capped so it never dominates, and is shown only if it clears a relevance and quality bar — otherwise nothing sponsored is shown at all.
Can a business just pay to rank at the top?
No. Sponsored Discovery uses Merit-Weighted Relevance Placement, not a bid auction. Ranking is driven mainly by relevance, audience fit, and merit (reviews, engagement, complete pages, good standing); the sponsorship amount is a small, capped factor (never more than a fraction of the score) and can never cross the relevance or merit floors. A more relevant, higher-merit business is discovered ahead of one that simply pays more.
Do advertisers see or use my personal data?
No. Sponsored Discovery uses Consent-Bounded Contextual Targeting: businesses can target by category, keyword/intent, location, schedule and consented aggregate interests — never your personal data, and never individual profiling or cross-site tracking. Businesses cannot access, export or buy customer personal data. If you have not consented to personalization, targeting falls back to context only.
How are advertisers billed — what is a Qualified Discovery Event?
Businesses are billed only for Qualified Discovery Events (QDEs): a surfacing that is relevant, viewable, frequency-capped and valid. Exposure alone never generates a charge, invalid or fraudulent traffic is excluded, and spend is always capped at the campaign budget. This protects advertisers from wasted spend and keeps revenue tied to real discovery value.
Where do Sponsored Discovery results appear?
Primarily in Search — homepage search, the search page and results — where discovery intent is strongest. They can also appear in discovery, categories, the directory, business and personal pages, and product/service surfaces, always relevance-gated and labelled. They never appear on the admin Console or any admin surface.
How does Sponsored Discovery help my business grow?
It maps to fourteen growth objectives — discoverability, brand/business/product/service/content visibility, qualified traffic, engagement, leads, contacts, conversions (where Commerce is enabled), customer acquisition, and long-term success. Your Dashboard shows a growth scorecard and the next best action, so growth is systematic. Because ranking rewards merit, improving your page and reputation improves your discovery performance without paying more.
How long is my data kept, and can I control it?
You control data retention from Dashboard or Console under "Data & storage". Choose 30, 60 or 90-day auto-deletion (default 30 days; higher plans allow longer — Growth up to 60, Business up to 90), or turn auto-deletion off. It covers data that accumulates over time: activity, notifications, messages, Sponsored Discovery events, email log, reports, feedback, the privacy access log and contributions. You can export any category (or everything) before it is deleted. In production, deletion is permanent and enforced server-side per your plan and applicable law.
What are my storage limits, and what happens if I reach them?
Each plan includes storage — Free 2 GB, Starter 10 GB, Growth 50 GB, Business 200 GB — shown as a meter in the "Data & storage" panel. As you approach the limit you are warned and can add a storage pack or move up a plan. Retention and auto-deletion help keep usage within your plan by clearing old, accumulated records on the schedule you choose.
How do I build a product with options and choices on my page?
In Studio, the page builder lets you add products with a name, base price, currency and image, then define options (for example "Colour" or "Size") and choices under each option (for example "Red +$5"), including per-choice price changes and images, and an optional "let viewers choose quantity" toggle. A live gallery preview updates as you build, and the products are published as part of your page. This page-builder product structure is separate from Inventory, which manages stock; publishing simply snapshots your product structure onto the page.
How do leads work, and where do they go?
Every enquiry — from a page, a Sponsored Ad or Boost campaign, or the Message Center — becomes a lead and flows into Contacts automatically, deduplicated and tagged by source, with a classification applied. From Contacts you follow up through the pipeline stages, add notes and follow-ups, and export to an external CRM or webhook such as Zapier, HubSpot or Salesforce. Leads are outcomes of your visibility: to earn more, increase reach with Sponsored Ads or Boost. Telshare never sits in the transaction.
How do Contacts and classifications work?
Contacts is your built-in CRM — every relationship from Telshare (leads, messages, enquiries and followers) in one place. Each contact has a classification/type (such as Customer, Prospect, Lead, Supplier, Partner or Subscriber), a pipeline stage, tags, notes and follow-ups. The classification taxonomy, the default type and which plans get contact analytics are all managed centrally in the Console. You can import from a file or connected source (with duplicate detection) and export to CSV at any time.
How does the Message Center work?
Dashboard and Studio have a full mailbox — Inbox, System, Sent, Drafts, Promotions, Spam and Trash — with search, rich-text replies and trust badges. The Reseller portal has an inbox and Inventory has a messages view, and both include support ticketing.
What happens to items in Trash?
Messages moved to Trash are permanently deleted after 30 days. Spam and Trash can also auto-delete on a schedule you choose.
How do notifications work?
In-app notifications can be filtered, searched, marked read, deleted and set to expire on a retention schedule, so your activity feed stays relevant.
What is Community Q&A?
Visitors can ask public questions on a business page. The business and other members can answer, and posts and comments follow the Community Guidelines set for the platform.
How do reviews and ratings work?
Customers can rate and review a business. Ratings contribute to page reputation and to discovery ranking, alongside the in-app feedback captured by the Feedback tab.
What are Telshare credits and Platform Credits?
Resellers buy Telshare credits in bulk at a discount and draw them down against platform charges. Businesses can also hold Platform Credits (a prepaid wallet) and use them to pay for Sponsored Ads and Boost alongside standard billing or a reseller purchase. Account credit and top-ups cover balances; end customers never manage credits themselves.
Does Telshare store my payment card details?
No — Telshare stores no cardholder data whatsoever. Every payment is processed, and any saved card is stored, solely by the integrated PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider (for example Stripe, PayPal or bKash). Card entry, viewing and removal all happen on the provider’s secure form; Telshare never receives, transmits or holds a card number, CVV or expiry date — on the platform, in the Page Builder, or at Commerce checkout. Sellers likewise never store their customers’ card details: buyers pay the seller’s own gateway directly.
How does Admin issue account credits, and what governs them?
In the Console, an admin locates an account by its account number, member number, id or email, then issues a credit toward a specific pricing plan, plan upgrade, add-on service, module, subscription or other eligible account service. Every issuance is permission-checked (admin/super-admin only), validated (positive amount, valid credit type, and any expiry must be in the future), and written to an audited transaction ledger (reference CR-####) with full history, live balances by type, and reporting. Credits support expiry rules and usage tracking (redeem/consume), can be revoked, and each action raises a notification and an audit-log entry. This account-credit system is separate from reseller bulk credits, so there is no overlap.
How does the Reseller portal work?
Resellers accept the required agreements, connect a payment gateway, publish sale terms, and are activated by Telshare. Once active they get reseller pricing, promotions, bulk credits and their own support threads.
How do I manage my account and sign-in?
Sign in with a two-factor verification code, switch between accounts from the account menu, and manage roles and shared access. Shared access lets you invite external collaborators without buying separate subscriptions.
What privacy controls do I have?
From the Privacy button on every page you can give or withdraw consent per purpose (essential, functional, analytics, personalization, advertising) without bundling, opt out of the sale or sharing of your data, export your data for portability, request correction, restriction, objection or erasure, and see how your data is handled. Rejecting is always as easy as accepting, and we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal.
Which privacy laws does Telshare follow, and how is consent handled?
Telshare is built to Privacy by Design and by Default and is configured to align with GDPR (EU) and UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (US), and privacy laws across Asia and the wider region such as India’s DPDP Act, Singapore’s PDPA and Australia’s Privacy Act, among others. Administrators set the consent model (opt-in, opt-out or notice), the consent purposes offered, the data-subject rights surfaced, the applicable regulations, retention and the controller/DPO contact centrally in the Admin Console — nothing is hard-coded — and each user manages their own choices, which take effect across the platform.
What security features exist?
Telshare uses two-factor sign-in, trusted-device recognition with email approval for new devices, role-based permissions, session and token management, rate limiting with lockout, an inactivity policy that warns and can close dormant accounts, and audit trails visible to administrators in the Console.
What happens when I sign in from a new device or location?
If you sign in from a new computer, browser, device, operating system, or a significantly different IP or location, Telshare holds the sign-in and emails you to Approve or Deny it before access is granted. Only after you approve is a trusted device recorded and a session token issued (using secure, industry-standard practices). If you deny — or the attempt looks suspicious — access is blocked, any pending sign-in tokens are revoked, you are notified, and you may be asked to reset your password and complete recovery verification before access is restored. You can review sessions, trusted devices and login history under Account security.
What do I need to change my password, username, user ID or email?
Any of these sensitive changes requires two things: your current password and a verification code emailed to you. Enter the current password, request the code, then confirm — the change only applies once the emailed code is verified, and other active sessions are signed out for safety. All verification emails come from predefined templates that admins manage centrally in the Console.
How are sessions, devices and login history managed?
Open Account security to see every active session (with location and expiry) and sign out any of them or all other sessions at once, review and remove trusted devices, and read your recent login history. Admins can additionally view and revoke sessions, approve or deny pending new-device sign-ins, force a password reset and require recovery verification from the Console.
How does the side navigation work?
Grouped side menus fold and unfold, right-to-left by default, with Expand all and Collapse all controls. Click a group header or press Enter or Space to toggle it. Fold direction and animation are configurable from the Console.
Where is help, and how do I give feedback?
The Help button in the corner of every page opens the Help Center, with FAQ, User Guide, Tutorials, Feature Tours, Support and Videos in one place. The Feedback tab on the edge of the page captures a star rating and an optional comment for the Console analytics.
Does Telshare sell products, or is it a marketplace?
No. Telshare is a business-presence, discovery and SaaS platform, not a marketplace, seller, or merchant of record. Optional Commerce simply lets an independent business sell from its own page. The business is the seller; Telshare provides the technology and never takes part in the transaction.
How do I enable Commerce / start selling?
Commerce is optional and off by default. It is available on Growth and Business plans and unlocks only after Commerce Eligibility approval. In Studio/Inventory apply for Commerce; once approved and enabled you can publish Inventory items to your page and sell. Inventory also works on its own for internal stock management on every plan, with or without Commerce.
What is Commerce Eligibility and why is my store locked?
To protect buyers, sellers and the platform, Commerce stays locked until a high-trust review passes: verified email and phone, strong security (MFA), a verified payment account, accepted Commerce Terms, good standing, minimum account age/activity and a clean risk check. A Super Admin may approve, decline, suspend, revoke or require re-verification.
How do payments work — does Telshare hold my money?
No. Telshare never holds, receives, or transmits funds and issues no gift cards, wallets, stored value or escrow. Each business connects its own third-party payment provider (for example Stripe, PayPal, or bKash in Bangladesh) and is paid directly by the customer, subject to that provider’s terms. Telshare records the order and hands off the payment.
How do I add bKash or another payment provider?
In Studio/Dashboard → Payment methods, enable the provider and enter your own merchant details (for bKash, your merchant short code and mode). Your live API credentials are configured securely server-side, never in the browser. Admins can enable providers platform-wide or register new ones in the Console.
Who handles returns, refunds and warranties?
The business does, under its own posted policy and applicable consumer law. Telshare records a return, exchange, refund or warranty request and routes it to the business; it does not adjudicate or fund it. Your statutory consumer rights apply against the business you bought from.
How does Commerce stay compliant with privacy and consumer law?
Businesses selling through Commerce are the data controllers for their customers and must post their own policies; Telshare acts as processor under the Data Processing Addendum. Consent, Do-Not-Sell, GPC, and data-subject rights apply platform-wide, and product-safety and recall notices cannot be switched off.
